1. Vessel Arrival and Cargo Verification

Our process begins immediately upon the vessel’s arrival to establish the security and integrity of the shipment:

• Hatch Seals Verification: We confirm that all hatch seals are intact and match the recorded documentation, providing critical assurance that the cargo has not been tampered with since loading.
• Initial Cargo Condition Survey: A thorough survey of the general cargo condition is performed within the holds to note any signs of damage, infestation, shifting, or contamination prior to the start of discharge.
• Initial Draught Survey: Our certified surveyors perform an initial draft survey to accurately determine the vessel’s loaded weight, establishing the baseline quantity for the shipment.

2. Discharge Supervision and Quantity Control

We provide continuous supervision during discharge to protect your interests regarding quantity and quality:

• Cargo Discharge Supervision: Our personnel supervise the entire discharge operation, monitoring handling practices and ensuring maximum recovery while minimizing spillage and contamination risks.
• Final Draught Survey: A final draft survey is performed immediately after discharge to calculate the exact quantity of cargo delivered, allowing for comparison against the Bill of Lading and the initial survey.
• Weighment Witnessing: We witness and verify all weighment procedures to ensure accuracy and procedural fairness in determining the landed weight.

3. Shore-Side Management and Final Delivery

The inspection continues onshore to safeguard your material through storage and distribution:

• Warehouse Inspection: We conduct a warehouse inspection to verify the suitability, cleanliness, and security of the storage facility designated for receiving the cargo, ensuring compliance with required standards before the material is moved.
• Cargo Receiving Supervision: We supervise the transfer of cargo into the designated warehouse or storage location, confirming proper segregation and stacking.
• Delivery Supervision: We oversee the final stage, performing delivery supervision against authorized delivery orders. This ensures that the correct quantity and quality of cargo are released only to verified parties, completing the chain of custody and minimizing unauthorized loss.
