Ensuring Cargo Integrity Across Every Wagon.

1. Rake Loading Supervision

During the loading process, our focus is on ensuring the correct quantity and quality of cargo are secured for transport:

  • Empty Wagons Inspection: Prior to loading, we conduct a detailed inspection of all empty wagons. This crucial step verifies that the wagons are clean, dry, free from residual cargo or foreign matter, and structurally sound to prevent contamination and transit losses.
  • Cargo Checking Prior to Loading: We perform on-site cargo checking (quality/condition sampling) of the commodity intended for loading. This confirms that the material meets the required specifications immediately before transfer.
  • Wagon Identification and Record: We note down the unique number of every wagon utilized in the rake. This systematic record-keeping ensures full traceability for the entire shipment.
  • Weighment Witness: We officially witness all weighment activities to ensure scales are calibrated and procedures are followed correctly, establishing a certified gross and net weight for the loaded rake.
  • Wagon Sealing: Upon completion of loading and weighment, we supervise the meticulous application of wagon seals (or door sealing). The seal numbers are recorded and reported to assure clients of the cargo’s security throughout the transit period.

2. Rake Unloading Supervision

At the destination, our supervision ensures the full receipt of the expected cargo and protects against discrepancies:

  • Seal Verification and Opening: Upon arrival, we verify that all wagon seals are intact and match the numbers recorded at the origin. We then witness the official breaking of the seals just prior to discharge.
  • Wagon Condition and Quantity Check: We inspect the cargo condition within the wagons and monitor the discharge process to ensure complete offloading.
  • Weighment Witness: We witness the weighment of the discharged cargo to accurately determine the quantity received. Where necessary, we also witness the weighment of the empty wagons (“tare weight”) to verify net quantity.
  • Delivery Supervision: Supervision extends to monitoring the transfer of the discharged cargo to the designated warehouse or storage area, ensuring proper segregation and documentation against receiving records.

Our detailed reports, complete with photographs and verified documentation (seal records, weighment slips, and inspection findings), provide a complete chain of custody for your agri-commodity shipments.
